Thymus serpyllum
 A wonderful herb of the mint family that can be used fresh or dry to add flavour any meat dish, dessert and oil. The stems and leaves can also be used in breads and crushed and brewed to make a delicious tea.
Creeping thyme can be used as an alternative to grass, and can be planted in between stepping stones, to bring a beautiful colour and aroma to your garden.
