The importance of micro-habitats

Creating micro-habitats may be the simplest yet most profound thing you can do to effect positive change in the natural world. The ducks and geese have returned. We created the duckweed ponds to filter water. We create the ponds to grow duckweed. We did NOT create the ponds for the ducks and geese but we are so happy that they found their way to these micro-habitats. Nature is incredible!
